None of that shit is money; it's a fraud. Buy real money (gold and silver) with your faux paper crap while it's still possible and still cheap. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31354160 How was gold and silver during the economic collapse in Argentina? I wasn't here during the last economic collapse and I won't be here during the next one either. Some of us know when shit's gonna go down and move on to greener (safer) pastures. But gold helped some of my friends enormously. Any anecdotes? It can be anonymous ( IE my friend dave, lol ), it just it may help some of us out by thinking about what actually happened. Did people turn up at the bank one day and they couldn't get their money? |

It can be anonymous ( IE my friend dave, lol ), it just it may help some of us out by thinking about what actually happened. Did people turn up at the bank one day and they couldn't get their money? Yes, in 2001 the financial system here collapsed completely. People were middle class one day and the next the banks were all closed -- ATM's, everything -- and those who hadn't prepared were begging for food in the streets. When the banks did reopen, the Argentine peso had been devalued by 75% and they only made the remaining 25% available a bit at a time, in a strictly-controlled manner. In short, it was a disaster. Gold not only protected your savings, if you'd been prescient enough to buy it, but it worked well for barter during the period of time when there was no functioning financial system in the country. In fairness, U.S. dollars worked well during the crisis too, which is why Argentines have been in love with them ever since (well, even more so than before, and they've ALWAYS loved dollars here). Most Argentines still save in U.S. dollars, even though the government made buying them illegal for Argentine citizens last year. As soon as they did that, a black market for dollars sprung up immediately. But I've warned my friends here that U.S. dollars are not what they're going to want this time around; the dollar's days are numbered. It's actually illegal to buy gold here too, but, as with dollars, not hard to do if you how the system works. |

I don't know how anyone can believe that the fiat currency of what amounts to a U.S. colony will ever appreciate more than a few percent vs. the equally bullshit currency of the colonizing country. But people believe all kinds of crazy shit. |

Quoting: USMC0369 After holding my Iraq Dinar for 5 years I finally gave up on it and cashed it in. I spent 10K USD to buy it over there years and only got 8k USD when I cashed it in. I would advise anyone out there that has Iraq Dinar to do the same. I listened to all of the experts for years that said it would revalue for Millions and that never took place. What I do know is that it was a long shot and I knew that going into it and that my friends that I still have on the ground in Iraq told me to get out of it now and cash it in. So if you have Dinar you might really want to consider cashing it in. If you need to know how to cash it in let me know and I will post a link. Where can I cash it in, or at least tell me a website I can go to that will direct me to the nearest places in the surrounding area |

You listened to 'experts' without considering who they where, and what interest and bias they may be having in telling you what you wanted to hear. In short you listened most likely to 'experts' that were selling Dinahs, or had buisness interests in YOU buyin Dinahs, or held lots of Dinahs themselves, and were Bias. Worst, you likely only chose to listen to those that made your investment seem foolproof. LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL SILVER INVESTORs. keepan open mind, and be crital of the sources of information you make your decision on, and more importantly, be critical of yourself and realise you will want to hear what you want to hear. Reality, however, gives not a fuck what wanyone says, or how much you want to hear it. I cashed all of my Iraq Dinar in today. Anonymous Coward User ID: 38740733 Singapore 03/29/2014 03:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had a friend that bought some Iraqi Dinar. I think at that time 1 million was like $700 USD. His bet was that someday (once the war was finished) the Iraqi Dinar would be 1:1 with the USD and he would be an instant millionaire. Looks like so far that hasn't happened... |

THAT would be a scam. of course you aren't going to become a damn millionaire, and the company's that are selling dinar are absolutely not making such claims. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55022497 Its not a scam. But the Dinar wont revalue until a Global currency reset happens. A Global Currency reset has to happen to save a global economic collapse. The collapse will try to be confined to the USA, Europe, and the U.K. It would not be fair for every country to be forced into collapse because the usa and europe is going to go down. By revaluing each countries currency by the assets vs liabilities they possess some countries will not be hit as hard by the collapse while others like the USA will be hit VERY hard. Oil reserves and production will be the biggest factor decided value of a countries currency. Nothing is worth more than oil! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 2877009 United States 04/07/2014 02:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes. I realized about two years ago it was a farce. A scam. The Iraqi Dinar will NEVER revalue. None of my local banks would allow me to trade it back and the same went for Travelex. I had to sell it back to the company I purchased from and they sent me a check for the current value in USD. All of those internet shows, forums and blogs are full of it. All of them and most of the gurus/pumpers have been exposed as frauds. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 55877971 United States 04/07/2014 03:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 10 years in nothing to them... to the average person, they demand instant return on an investment... they also don't have the liquidity to play the long game, so they get shaked out easier because they need money and have to quit the game... It's the same with gold and silver... all these fools buy gold and silver thinking it's an instant return.. they see the price fluctuate and drop and alter and they say "i've lost money!! what a joke and a lie, the price didn't go up it went down!!" They aren't in it for the long game, and don't understand that prices rise and drop, they just want an instant return... and when they don't get it, they give up and think it's bs. same with dinar... people expect an instant return... gotta play the long game...TPTB are... "i've already been in it for 10 years!!"... while 10 years is a long time, time is relative... |
