USE THIS SITE ( if you have Java enabled ) and place your position for: Sacramento California San Diego Hawaii Alaska Great View Updated Chiba Japan can be entered on the left side of the display when you click Find and the planets are just now rising for them. Set Sky Color to BLACK [link to www.skyviewcafe.com] Saturn is about to set, so hurry and take a look if you are able. Tomorrow will be the Same thing, and I'll be back to update throughout the day. gotta disagree op. uranus and jupiter are behind us now. this is by far the most awesome site for viewing solar system. it even shows all the individual stars. you all gotta check out the site just to see how cool it is. End of discussion on that one. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Good, because I'm tired of hearing it; we're above the galactic plane and headed AWAY from it, not towards it. Hopefully you'll get tired of posting bullshit like that and stop doing it. By the way, if that "Jupiter and Saturn on opposite sides of the sun" held water, we should be having an active solar max. Instead this solar cycle is very quiet with very little activity this close to solar max compared to previous cycles. There's nothing particularly interesting about the arrangement of the planets on the 21st. Last Edited by Astromut on 12/14/2012 01:04 AM |
