i am just looking at our graphs and recent quakes now..

looking at the kermadec graphs, it looks like there were 2 quakes close together

as you can see on the quake map above, we have had a few 3.0+ quakes here today already (it is 3.11pm here right now):

i do not like the look of the way the recent 5.2 kermadec quake(s) has/have affected the volcano graphs..

as someone else pointed out, most nz quakes dont make it onto the global quake sites..

I know both are very small but Australia hardly EVER gets any earthquakes. Why are they waiting hours later to put them up???

there was a swarm of 4 within the same minute across the globe i noticed this morning or last evening., within the past 24 hours any way. it appears to be censored out. i cant find it to reference it here for you. i'll keep searching.

No, that's not what it means. I certainly do not mean to be rude but I have to wonder if those that talk about an 'impending 10+ quake' REALLY understand what they are saying. A 10 is not a 'bit bigger than a 9.7', it's an order of magnitude larger &, depending on location, depth, type of quake & duration would(not could)result in nearly incomprehensible death & destruction.

def noticed a few days ago that the eq's were listed strange. for example, when EMSC showed the EQ in Indonesia area i checked on LEM and it said it occurred hours before. And the same today, no EQ's to suddenly EQ's listed saying they took place hours earlier. And yes, i noticed that apparently there are NO EQ's occurring in certain areas suddenly. Very strange indeed. Hmm. I wonder as I sit at my computer in my little apartment somewhere in the northeast of america just waiting for the earth to shake the sky to rain fire and something cool (destructive) to happen.

I know how hat sounds, like I said earlier, I'm usually way calm for almost anything.....but a lack of quakes is not good. To see any quake is a good thing..... Thousands daily and then...poof.

You are correct in saying there is no shortage of quakes in NZ.. However, the thread is about the larger quakes, which are non exsistant at the moment. We have only had a 4.3 which was 12 hours ago and a 3.6 which was 14 hours ago. Along with the one up in the Kermadec Islands.

We get a minor quake finally popped in Western Aussie, and then a recent Texas Quake. Where are the Western Pacific Quakes?

I read NiNzrez's reply about leading up to something bigger potentially, and i really didnt want to go that route. I acknowledge those thoughts still and I am trying to Calm the Hell Down....
