I'm a social being, having to cope with everything alone for so long is just killing me. Even if there wasn't anything to worry about. And there is. nns |

(OP) User ID: 31156966 Finland 12/31/2012 12:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seems to work for many, not me. Diagnosed add with lots of energy. It has to come out through direct connection with someone. I can manage perhaps a week or so without going crazy, and this sh*t has been going on for over three years now. No amount of exercise or 5-HTP or anything has ever helped me. There's exactly one thing that works for me, and that's company. The only other way is just stay awake for as long as it takes for the body to come so totally exhausted the mind just has to give in. Which is not healthy, nor does it help fixing the feeling of complete lack of purpose of being here. The worst part is, I know there's no way out of this. Just have to keep waiting. nns |

(OP) User ID: 31156966 Finland 12/31/2012 12:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Like mentioned above 5-HTP works great and I also use Gabatrol (and a couple of glasses of red wine). Quoting: Nemamiah Soaking in a hot bath for 20 minutes can help relax you as well. Good luck! Well, I wish I had the money to get Gabatrol. Or red wine. Or a bath tub. =D That's part of what I'm destined to worry about. No money at all for many years. Spent the Christmas alone with virtually nothing to eat, now it's the same with the new year - third time in a row. Can't go anywhere, can't buy anything, can't do a god damn thing except wait for this phase to pass. I really don't even have that tub. Or a shower. Or a decent toilet. Not even a kitchen sink - seriously. Amazing, but that's the kind of bs I've agreed to swallow so just have to deal with it. Weird enough, I do still have a laptop and an Internet connection. A lot is going on and I'm expecting things to get easier soon, but it seems I'm feeling just worse every day the closer whatever-it-is comes. Don't know why but maybe because we are a small company and more connected to each other. I would not shy away from medication. Ambien has helped me in the past when I have used it for a week or two. Make sure you are ready for bed and no alcohol consumption. After using this for a week I have been able to maintain a sleep habit for several months. Be strong. |

Don't have money for booze either. =D Weed used to help but that was a long time ago, it works for a while but if the problems (stress etc.) persist then it's no good. I will. Thanks. <3 nns |

That does the trick for many. Believe me, tried this one too - extensively. =D Doesn't work either. The amount of energy I've got is just a nightmare. There seems to be no way to shut me down other than having the right company. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30240152 Well I could tell you quite a few things of our "great" medical care program. Lots of propaganda around regarding it. I had to fight for months just to get my add diagnosed, and even then I had to pay. Using the public system, the whole process would have taken about a year. It's a disaster over here too, although they like to paint nice pictures of this socialist little paradise of ours of course... ;) Last Edited by NordicNeoShaman on 12/31/2012 12:28 AM nns |

How about having yourself admitted for a mental/sleeping disorder? Make it out to be worse than it is and get the help you need. You won't find the help you need online and especially here on GLP. |

I am a full blooded Finlander. Born and raised in the US. My folks came from Turku. My relatives there own a popular line of ski wear and apparel. Starts with an L. Not that it matters. But I know Finns are chronically deficient in Vitamin D due to the lack of sunlight. Not to mention the tendency toward depression anyway. Before you try anything else, start a serious retiming of the miracle Vitamin. Vitamin D cures depression in almost all cases. 5000 IU's a day. Give it a shot. You might be surprised. |

Can't remember when I had my last one. It's amazing how easily you get dropped out of absolutely everything when leaving the System. There are still so few of those ready to make the move, that there's not nearly enough mass for anything new to emerge. It's coming through now though, hopefully leading into concrete changes very soon. nns |

It will chill you the fuck out without actually making you drowsy. Calms the nerves and thoughts. You're quality of sleep will be better as well. I recommend the Dragon Herbs "Tao In a Bottle" formula, simply because it has a number of healthy adaptogens in it as well for only a little more than L-Theanine on it's own. BTW, L-Theanine is an amino acid that comes from Green Tea. |

I was doing a lot better 6 months ago or so, but since the summer things have been getting much more difficult. The "energies are shifting" most definitely, and although the direction is good, the process itself is not exactly easy or "nice". Well, it's the end of the year. Let's hope it brings an end to unnecessary suffering too. =) nns |
