you let reality tells you what truth is... reality is but a perception of your senses! Why would you trust your senses so much to guide you?
Quoting: Blitz the storm-striker I let reality tell me what truth is? Of course! Reality and truth are one in the same. What is truth? Truth is whatever is real. If it's not real, then likewise, it's not true.
If you shoot me, and then say you didn't, you are lying. Why? Because reality contradicts your claim of innocence.
You tell me not to rely on my senses, but your alternative isn't any better. Why would my "feelings" be any better to rely on than my senses for determining truth? If senses can be mislead, how much more easily can feelings be manipulated? The most successful politicians are the ones who've best learned how to manipulate people's emotions. If politicians are able to make people feel good, does that mean they're always telling the truth? Most of the messes people get into are because they're listening to their feelings rather than looking at the facts.
So you see, when I approach the "me tel u" thread, or anything like it, I have to look at all the facts, not just what my feelings say. Feelings can be manipulated with clever wordplay or exciting ideas. The OP of that thread has a clever premise that captures the imagination. But if the predictions don't come to pass as stated, then it is a work of fiction, period.
