Federal Atrocity: Reviewing the Siege of Branch Davidians at Waco, TX

The assault on the branch davidians was truly one of the most horrific overt atrocities ever perpetrated on American soil. Right up there with general miles at sand creek.

It was a very formative event in my young life. I was 19 at the time.
I was one of the first people to have the VHS video of what really happened. The ATF agents shooting each other, the fires being set, etc.

Over the years a bit more info has come to light.Like the bomb used to kill the people inside the vault. It is hard to believe our own government would do this, and why?

I hope people continue to learn the truth about these events. Waco,Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City, 911, even with all these glaring examples. There are so many more unknown events. Like the police killed in Tacoma and Seattle. The wildlife biologist drowned in the Columbia. The D.A. shot and dumped off a bridge. 3 state patrols that didn't even make the news.

Untold dead at the hands of corrupt politicians.

I'm from Arkansas, and I personally know of a case where a man got away with killing his wife in cold blood because he caught her screwing then Governor Bill Clinton. Once his lawyer made it clear he was going to subpoena Governor Clinton as a witness, the State dropped all charges and he walked. Shit never even made the local paper.

I was new to this and got the same tapes way back then.

I always believed that it was a satanic ritual sacrifice of innocent Christian children who's terror would release energy and satanically bless the Clinton administration on the spring equinox.

The Sandy Hook killings probably did the same for Obama although all the deaths in the middle east have also released satanic energy to his reign.

Our so-called government has been waging war on us for quite a while now.

Here the real deal. I met Koresh before he went to Waco.
He was evil. It was his intent to make himself a martyr.
He and his people fired with intent to draw fire, so that they could be martyrs.

Get it?

I get that that is your rationalization for the murder of innocent Americans.

I get that, for some reason, you see the whole event as somehow offensive, on the part of the Davidians.

I also get that you, anonymous coward, should be locked up for insanity, aiding and abetting mass murderers, treason and conspiracy to overturn the second amendment of the USA.

Look at those videos again. The ATF was on the offense, the whole way through. They covered their tracks with lies and broken laws of evidence. Look at all the evidence that was missing or destroyed.

It was totally unjustified and spurred on by the big egos in Washington.

The Davidians were no threat to anyone. They were raising children in a community that they voluntarily chose to join and were free to leave. They were pursuing their rights to life, liberty, and happiness.

Sadly, the self-evident nature of those rights seems to have been completely lost to People like you.

When I see that short line of, what was it, 10 rifles? 10 rifles that probably couldn't even reach the end of the private driveway of that ranch, for God's Sake. You think those ten rifles were somehow a threat to national security, or to the People in Charles Shumer's State of New York?! Get Real!

Compare those 10 little rifles to the lives lost, not to mention dollars spent on that siege. You call that good policy?! Was it worth it?

Look at the videos again, both parts (1 &2).

I will pray that there is a kernel of goodness in you and that these videos will somehow spark that kernel into something larger.

I am a Davidian Seventh-day Adventist (DSDA), not, and I repeat, not a Branch Davidian or a follower of David Koresh. The media fails to distinguish the two groups. At any rate there is an aspect regarding the Waco burnout that is almost never mentioned or told as to why the government got involved with the branch compound in the first place.

Since becoming a DSDA in 2000 I have spent much time researching the message and the history of the movement which has an unfortunate association with the branch movement and this tragic burnout. Below is a link to a research paper that was published to address the issue and explain where the branch came from and contrast its beliefs with that of orthodox Davidians. At the end of the paper a compelling argument is given which indicates that the corporate Seventh-day Adventist church leadership had a hand in alluring the government into "doing something" about the situation in Waco due to their long time hatred and warfare against the original Shepherd's Rod message published by the late V. T. Houteff since it first arose in 1930. The history of the conflict is important to understand the motive as to why the church leadership would entice the government to get involved in a religious controversy in direct violation of their core belief in religious liberty and the separation of church and state.
