I know about the time lag between the actual explosion and the observed explosion, but do you mean they detect them as the supernova begins? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30020340 Or, do they just happen to be looking in a certain area and find the already exploded supernova (accounting for the time lag)? How fast would a star explode? I mean, if we were watching a known star, say Sirius - and it went supernova, what would we see? Would it be a slow motion thing or would it happen fairly quickly? Perhaps, as soon as we saw it we would be engulfed and destroyed right then, if the star was close enough. The explosion itself and peak brightness is reached very quickly. They're constantly finding these every night because we're constantly scanning the skies every night. |

Dr.'s should study these people. Wait, I take that back... Anyways, fascinating nonetheless and there's plenty of ground to cover in this thread. For example: 1) The Ocean - how bout some comments from O'tards? 2) Dolphins - D'tards? Anyone? 3) Moon - M'tards? This could and probably should spawn about 10 simultaneus threads at LEAST discussing what is being said. This is a GIFT folks. Please get your forks and knives and feast. What more can you ask for? I have always wonder why we have not taken advantage of the Ocean for a water source. We have the technology to take the Salt out of the water. That is how Dubai does it. The built they're own Salt water purification plant. I know it is expensive. But if you think about how bottle water is flying off the shelf in a local Walmart. With all of the areas of the World in dire need of water, we as a World really have no reason not to do this. |

Quoting: Soph 31913145 BREAKING NEWS: Powerful Magnetic Outflow Coming From Milky Way Galactic Plane [link to soundofheart.org] By FatherMotherGod... - Posted on 03 January 2013 Enormous outflows of charged particles from the center of our Galaxy, stretching more than halfway across the sky and moving at supersonic speeds, have been detected and mapped with CSIRO's 64-m Parkes radio telescope. Corresponding to the "Fermi Bubbles" found in 2010, the recent observations of the phenomenon were made by a team of astronomers from Australia, the USA, Italy and The Netherlands, with the findings reported in the January 2nd 2013 issue of Nature. "There is an incredible amount of energy in the outflows," said co-author Professor Lister-Staveley-Smith from The University of Western Australia node of the International center for Radio Astronomy Research in Perth and Deputy Director of the ARC center of Excellence for All-sky Astrophysics (CAASTRO). The source of the energy has been somewhat of a mystery, but we know there is a lot there, about a million times as much energy as a supernova explosion (a dying star). From top to bottom the outflows extend 50,000 light-years out of the Galactic Plane. That's equal to half the diameter of our Galaxy (which is 100,000 light-years across). Our solar system is approximately 30,000 light-years from the center of the Milky Way galaxy which is well within the reach of these enormous particle flows. Seen from Earth, but invisible to the human eye, the outflows stretch about two-thirds across the sky from horizon to horizon. --------- Yet another use for chemtrails? Well I don't see how you connected this to chemtrails, but nonetheless chemtrails probably provide an environment essential for alot of the instruments are government uses (HAARP) Well you never know, the mystery energy could be a DNA upgrade or something and the chemtrails block it interesting read under number 2 and nice image number 4: [link to www.sciencedirect.com] . |

Quoting: Interesting 26438117 The more I think about this, the only rational conclusion is that TPTP simply don't WANT their people to have abundance. THEY are very good at what they do. Very good. I remember back about 10 years ago, during a particularly nasty drought in Texas, I posited the idea (to noone important) that we should build de-salinization plants in the Gulf of Mexico and PUMP water via HUGE pipelines. I thought that it would be able to fill (and keep them that way) EVERY water reservoir in the U.S. It would give people jobs and solve our drought issues forever. If we can go to Mars, we can build the shit out of some de-salinization plants. Just saying... Peace. |

It goes into detail on how bad the drought in the United States was in 2012. [link to cnsnews.com] I'm not sure what the rules on posting links but I just copied the url from the link. I agree with what you said. In all honesty I don't believe they have the Will or the Want to do anything to help people. The drought in Texas has been insane the last couple of years. I'm sure other parts of the World may had or have been even worse. To actually have elected officials that take on these type of projects and to make them happen for the sake and welfare of the people.. ( oh, never mind I am just dreaming). |
