Passion, for me, is an ultimate experience...surpassing even Joy. For me, joys are the building blocks of passion.

Joy can be found in many different ways: the birth of a child, the love of a life...the best lay you've ever had.

Beloved, physical intimacy is a joy...when enacted healthfully it is ecstatic...yet, for me, not a passion.

Joy can come in the form of excelling at school, at bussiness, at art, at science...learning is a fundamental Joy.

I could go on, and I wouldn't be doing so lightly. Finding some joy is a big f'n deal around this back forty of universsal territory.

Within 54 years of living, and even given the many material joys I've found, I will stll proffer that joy is fleeting. It can be found, but it's within a moment.

Passion, though? Feelin' it? Knowing what...transcends reality and completes me in its moment of expression?

I have a passion for, my passion is alive when, I reconnect with old soul friends.

I only had one child, because having children was not a passion of mine. I have parents, having had better ones is not a passion of mine. I am educated, more education is not a passion of mine. Sex, in all its forms, is not a passion of mine.

Meeting up with old soul friends is a joy that has happened for me so many times over, though, and is more fulfilling than is anything else, and for that, I would say that it's my passion in life.


This will probably be the oddest post on the thread, but it's genuine and sincere.

and I would say you are pretty good then. I done some skateboarding never was able to do the tricks though.

gnosis is a beautiful thing it brings self responsibility and true kindness one toward another keep at it and share that which you come to understand

woman should in my opinion be that which you treasure and protect passion should be something you are able to share with everyone....just my opinion though my friend

I think self taught is the best as you are not just following someone elses rules to it. My wife can sing and has a most beautiful voice that truly is not from this realm. My grand pa who is a musical genius tried to find the key she sung in and never could so he would just go with it. He said I do not know what key she sings in but it is beautiful...I agree.

you will have to post a vid sometime of your breakdancing I would love to see it. I think if done right it is one of the most unique styles of dance...yes taking care of our own what could be better

Travel, especially international, and Broadway shows.... live theater, especially musicals. I never tire of either.

I only have one video of 1998 in youtube.

that is what me and my wife want to do.....we would love to travel and see broadway at least once

Benevolence. There is no other reason to exist. IMO.

I'm an hour train ride to NYC and have gone to many Broadway shows. When my daughter lived very near Manhattan, I would stay with her and go to the shows....sometimes four in one week. There are discount sites on the web, otherwise the shows are so expensive! I would go on weekdays...otherwise weekend prices for a seat are over $120.00!

Eventually I found a theater in Philadelphia only because Les Miserables was advertised on local TV stations. The theater was closer to me than NYC, and a fraction of the price that Broadway charged. Les Mis was my favorite show on Broadway, so I thought I would give it a try when I saw it advertised. OMG! It was better than Broadway...unbelievable! Many of the stars had played on Broadway!

Because I was so impressed with this theater, I wondered how I could see these productions over and over again without spending a fortune. I found, on the theater's website, that they needed volunteer ushers/ticket takers, etc. I volunteered and have seen the best live theater anywhere!

Please look at your local theaters and volunteer to usher. Some of these small, local theaters have unbelievable talent and wonderful shows! Do it!

The only reason I have the ability to travel internationally is because I worked with a major airline. I'm retired now, and I've been very lucky.

Once again...volunteer to usher for live theater in your area. See the shows for free! It is so worth it!
