How so? If you do not go to the hospital or doctor at all in the year, you still have to pay into the government insurance once the private health insurance is not affordable.

The lack of competition is a concern as well as there is no incentive to improve the quality of health.

my take on obama care is stay just under the thresh hold that you have to pay for it, just like taxes, screw them, learn to live smarter.

Also allowing the government to control healthcare paves the road way for them to dictate who lives and who dies. They will own your body and will force those with unhealthy life styles to either die or pay more. The ignorant will die due to a lack of education on how to take care of themselves.

I am currently insured and when I filed my taxes I was told of the fines. I called my insurance company to see if there was a required level of coverage and they said I was fine. I also asked would my premiums go up in the coming two years and they said more than likely they will be coming down.

All conspiracy aside and no I dont fully trust insurance companies and what research I have done the past few days is pointing to my carrier being correct.

Actually it was a pretty sublime plan to squash out welfare it looks like.

You can elect not to have insurance and the fine will pay for your insurance in the event you need it I'm guessing.

I pay for insurance that I seldom use but it's there for a reason.

In our consumer based economy, less disposable income means economic failure across the board. People being forced to buy something they can't afford is absurd!

Government dictating the cost of medicine and procedures means that docs lose money on many of those and therefore choose not to provide them...this goes for certain drugs and medical procedures that will cost lives and cause misery!
