I tell them the only time I got the flu shot was when my grandfather wanted me to go with him about 6 years ago and get one, other than that I havent gotten one since I was a kid, I also haven'nt had the flu since I was a kid. I also take precautions though, extra vitamins when Im around people who have it. My brother is just now getting over the flu, I haven't had a touch of it. He also got the flu shot.... |

Kids with fewer vaccines have fewer doctor and emergency room visits, because their parents don't take them to the doctor as often. Hence having fewer vaccines in the first place. Not everyone relies on doctors for everything. My mother was a Nurse, we had excellent and cheap health care and she didn't take me to the doctor hardly at all. I did have all those vaccines of course, but the point is, unless something major was broken or heavy drugs were needed it just didn't happen. There are a lot of reasons that kids that don't get Vaccines would have fewer visits to the doctor, aren't there? Christian scientists don't get Vaccines for their children OR take them in when they get sick. They pray the illness away. I'm sure that any good scientific study would account for all of this, but just in case, here's the thought for you. |
