I only average about 5 cups daily throughout the day so not much need for a whole pot. |

I like to buy Kicking Horse, when it is on sale. I grind my own beans and I prefer to use a French Press to make it. I find the taste is better.. It is also great since I only need to make 2 cups and I don't have to worry on a fancy machine to make it for me! |

So damn smooth and delicious! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8260452 I agree, look on eBay for it, I get the Jablum brand, it is the best. I've been getting Wallenford Jamaican Blue Mountain. But just because you said that I'm going to have to try out Jablum! Wow, Wallenford 65 buck a lb. Might be better, Jablum is 30 a lb. I dunno where you're checking but you can get Wallenford for $40ish on amazon |

User ID: 24881982 United States 01/30/2013 12:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | here's a link for a coffee house in nyc - [link to www.portorico.com] there are many websites out there. i used to roast my own until the popcorn machine broke down. i once stunk up the apt. to high heaven roasting it indoors - never again. had a lot of 'splaining to the husband to do and much cleaning. took a while to air out. lol. it's definitely an outdoor event. distilled or purified water is best. i use a 4 cup stainless steel italian espresso pot (aluminum gets eaten away by the acid and you can guess where that goes. alumninum ingestion is linked to alzheimers, i think - don't quote me on it). sometimes a french press when i need more. i grind my beans, but freeze the rest. the espresso pot needs a smaller grind and the french press a larger grind. lots of fun stuff to do with it. family members from the islands would just pick their own beans, roast it and cook it - can't get any fresher. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8260452 Oh, and your coffee tastes like shit because most major coffee brewers have been secretly substituting out the arabica beans for the cheap stuff. It's become a big problem in the last year, it's hard to trust most coffee brands now unless you go for an expensive variety. But that doesn't bother me. I buy $40 bags of coffee and on a per-cup basis it's still only 2/3 what I would have paid to get a cup of coffee at your typical chain. thanks for that info |
