Rev 16:12 - Drying Up the Euphrates River to Prepare the Way for the Kings of the East
.

Also see Rev 9:14-16

The Euphrates River references in the book of Revelation
symbolize the fall of Mystery Babylon.

In the 6th century BC, God's Anointed King from the East,
Cyrus [Isaiah 45], dried up the Euphrates River to enable
his troops to secretly invade the city of Babylon.

Interestingly... it was an incident with one of Cyrus'
sacred white horses [which he took into battle with him]
that gave Cyrus the brilliant idea to dry up the Euphrates
and conquer Babylon via a surprise invasion. So... white
horse references in the book of Revelation also symbolize
God's Anointed King from the East [Cyrus.]

Also interesting, about 70 years before Cyrus dried up
the Euphrates River to conquer Babylon, Jeremiah's
prophecy against Babylon was bound and thrown into the
Euphrates River at Babylon [Jeremiah 51:61-64.] So...
when Cyrus dried up the Euphrates River, Jeremiah's
prophecy against Babylon was symbolically released and fulfilled.

As the historical symbols in the Book of Revelation reveal,
the Kings from the East are the good guys.

Isaiah 13 refers to God's Anointed King's Median/Persian army
as God's "sanctified ones" coming from a "far country", from
the "end of heaven" to destroy Babylon.

Isaiah 13 also says Cyrus' Medes/Persians did not value gold
or silver. Otherwise Babylon, the 'head of gold', might have
bought them off.

Isaiah 14 refers to the fall of the King of Babylon.

Cyrus references:

From Isaiah 41

Who has stirred up one from the east,
calling him in righteousness to His service?

He hands nations over to him
and subdues kings before him.

He turns them to dust with his sword,
to windblown chaff with his bow.

He pursues them and moves on unscathed,
by a path his feet have not traveled before.

Who has done this and carried it through,
calling forth the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord—with the first of them
and with the last—I am He.”

The islands have seen it and fear;
the ends of the earth tremble.

**

I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes—
one from the rising sun
who calls on my name.

He treads on rulers as if they were mortar,
as if he were a potter treading the clay. "

From Isaiah 44

" This is what the Lord says—
your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb:

I am the Lord,
who has made all things,
who alone stretched out the heavens,
who spread out the earth by myself,
who foils the signs of false prophets
and makes fools of diviners,
who overthrows the learning of the wise
and turns it into nonsense,
who carries out the words of his servants
and fulfills the predictions of his messengers,
who says of Jerusalem, ‘It shall be inhabited,’
of the towns of Judah, ‘They shall be built,’
and of their ruins, ‘I will restore them,’

who says to the watery deep, ‘Be dry,
and I will dry up your streams,’

[Rev 16:12 = Kings from the East]

who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd
and will accomplish all that I please
;
he will say of Jerusalem, “Let it be rebuilt,”
and of the temple, “Let its foundations be laid.
”’

Like Cyrus, King David conquered the stronghold of Zion via a water path.

Cyrus references

From Isaiah 45

" This is what the Lord says to His anointed,
to Cyrus
, whose right hand I take hold of
to subdue nations before him
and to strip kings of their armor,
to open doors before him
so that gates will not be shut:

I will go before you
and will level the mountains;
I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.

I will give you hidden treasures,
riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, who summons you by name. "

There is an army on earth today whose symbol is a holy warrior on a white horse slaying a dragon.

Yes

The Mississippi River, the physical and economic backbone of America-Babylon...
is a good analogy.

Cyrus reference

From Isaiah 46

" From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do. "
