Anonymous Coward User ID: 20566260 United States 02/15/2013 05:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well according to the definitions, I suppose it IS an asteroid, because it did not burn up in the Earths atmosphere and landed. So, are the reporting sources using the wrong terminology then or is it something more sinister. Good catch op, dont be afraid of glpers lol. :interesting: |

Quoting: kingbirdfivezero Sure looks like it. I can't help but feel that Astroid 2012 DA14 and this object over Russia are related but I guess we'll never know. Sure would of been interesting to see what would of happened if this event would of occurred in Washington DC. Someone (not saying any names) would of been hiding under his desk, sucking his thumb while holding on to his blankee, and asking for his momma. LOL! Ok, that wasn't very nice of me. |

It's a damned odd coincidence otherwise. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1420747 United States 02/15/2013 06:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's something very cool to watch. Here's a link to the astroid's path. [link to www.satflare.com] and here's the link to the ISS USTREAM and tracker. Looks like they might bump into each other. The astroid is traveling much slower than the ISS so by the time they meet, it'll be day time. [link to iss.stormway.ru] Enjoy! |
