YOU are the Conspiracy

My friends,

I ask that you try to contain any anger the thread title may have summoned up inside you. It was merely an attention getter, or better put, a wake up call. There is a great evil walking on this earth. It is laying claim to Man at every corner of the Globe and threatens us with either total annihilation, or total enslavement. The power of these two choices rests solely in the hands of this evil, because people, just like you, refuse to open up their eyes to simple truth. The Truth, is in fact, unbearable. It hurts the eyes with its brilliance. Therefore, we don our collected sunglasses, and see it through the shade of our choice. The evil that's afoot, that is the peddler of the shades. So, I ask you for just a moment of seeing the world without the sunglasses. Take them off for just the amount of time it takes you to read these posts. See my words with the eyes you were born with. Listen to the words resonate in your mind with no preconceived idea about what I am saying. Are you ready? Please do not proceed if you have not cleared your mind of bias. Take a deep breath, relax, and lets go.

You, as in you the human species, have been divided and conquered. I do not mean that in the usual, "You are a slave" kind of way. It is far more sinister than mere enslavement. You have been divided from your own humanity, and conquered into a beast. This did not happen a Millennia ago by some whispering serpent, it did not happen centuries ago by some Godlike Empire, no my friends, subtract the number of your age and you will be at the beginning of this domination. The day you were born you were a beautiful human being. You were flawless. Everything your eyes beheld was the wonderful thing imaginable. Every person you met a friend. Your mind was not dividing the human species up based on religion, or politics, or race, or gender. All was a wonderful as the next. Life at this moment was pure bliss. You loved all, and all loved you.

It was at this time you discovered a power that was absolutely awesome. You had a body, a little tiny machine at your control. With it you could do anything. It took some getting used to to learn the controls, but with a little practice, you made it rise up, walk about, and began an exploration of this wonderful creation. Oh how wonderful it was. Life at this moment, was limitless wonder. Everything you discovered, brought fascination and joy. You even discovered more beings walking this earth. Oh how they were magnificent, giants, and so many different colors and sounds came form them. How blessed life seemed at this time.

Then somewhere along your life, something happened. Its hard to nail down when this thing happened, and it is different for each of us, but it did happen. Someone began putting limits on you. First it was limits on what you could do with your machine. You could not understand why you could not run naked through the world, but it seemed to displease the giants, so you complied. Then the giants limited where you could explore. What a silly notion to you. You came into this world, so surely it all belonged to you, but, the giants demanded compliance, maybe even shouted their demands at you, or worse yet, maybe the harmed you physically. Either way, you gave in and followed the giants will.

As you grew older, an even stranger thing happened. The giants told you what things were good and which things were bad. Even sounds were the domain of giants. They decided when you make them, how you could make them, and where you could make them. It was odd at first, but you did not want to displease the giants. It was not long before the giants forced their will upon you in even more unusual ways. They began to tell you which giants to like and which giants to not like. Some giants were bad because they had a different color skin. Some giants were bad because they talked to God differently, which was most odd. You had no problem talking to God, but when you did the giants told you the one you called God didn't exist and only theirs did, curious. But, you did what the giants who kept you said. After all, they were the giants who seemed to own you.

It wasn't too long that the giants seemed to get bored with you. They sent you away to this building filled with other giants to teach you the correct way to make sounds, think, and act. It wasn't all bad. You finally got to meet a lot more creatures like yourself. Unfortunately, some of them had giants that were worse than your own. They were so angry, they took their anger out on those around them. They seemed to favor taking their anger out on beings smaller and weaker than themselves. Oh how mean their giants must have been.

As years went by, a strange thing happened to you. You started to turn into a giant. You were walking like them, talking like them, acting like them, and now, your machine started to grow. Over just a few short years you were as tall as the giants. The world you remembered became but a distant memory. Life was no longer as wonderful as it was back in the early days. It was still fun for some, but the magic was definitely lost. The days of being able to explore everything, has now become and endless list of using your machine to do the bidding of the giants. The giants at the building send you home with work to do, the giants at home fill your day with work they want you to do. Fortunately, you still get a little time to explore this world. You have been given a little more distance that you can go, but it isn't much. You explored it all with in the first 6 months that they extended your limits.

What's this you hear? Your giants feel that you have become a giant of your own and will be setting you free soon! You go though a period of absolute joy at the anticipation of being able to finally explore the wonderful world you always wanted. But, what's this? A small feeling of insecurity set in. You realize you don't really remember how to go about it. You have been doing what the giants said for so long, you forgot what is you wanted to do when you came here. So, you ask the giants who have been ruling you.

Here you thought you were going to freely explore the wonderful world, but your giants just told you the harsh reality. They are just turning you over to bigger more powerful giants. These giants plan on putting you to work as a giant. You may even raise some giants of your own. The world loses its wonder once again. Oh well, you guess this is the life of a giant, and you may as well get used to it.
