Anonymous Coward User ID: 28117669 United States 02/18/2013 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I imagine in some fashion to present the illusion that they are one in the same with the government but is there really a reason why banks share holidays with the government? Quoting: daydreamin Any thoughts/replies are appreciated. Many thanks! My garbage collector is off today. Why not banks? Why not everybody, since every single thing was owned by Lehman Brothers. Lehman owned all of the transportation and information technology companies. This is not a joke. We all deserve a holiday and a bail out. |

How are banks owned by the govt? Or did you mean that the banks own the govt? As for the garbage man well I imagine it's b/c his checks are signed by the "City of XXXX" whatever city he/she lives in. Do credit unions also get the day off? If so, are they also a part of the govt? Thanks for any replies. |
