You people are so ignorant, when does a meteor move across the sky virtually horizontal, and when since does a meteor travel so slow that it's every move can be caught on film. Meteorites, smaller meteors, or shooting stars are so fast that you rarely see them for their speed.
It would have hit in points of seconds if it were a meteor.

The speed was around 40,000 mph. This has been verified to be fairly close via triangulation from videos. This is the average speed of meteors.

Also, it had a downward angled trajectory of about 12 degrees. The entire portion on the meteor's brightening was over about 15 second to when it first became bright until there was no more apparent brightness.

All consistent with a meteor... a biggun, but nonetheless a meteor.
