Putting fear and phobias into children should be illegal

SO story books, tv shows, cartoons, movies, holidays, Religions should all be done with?

Take away the rights of the child to experience fearful things so that it can be emotionally dealt with and overcome so the child can live a normal life understanding fear and having developed coping abilities at a time when the thing that 'scares' them was easy to protect them from by giving them a hug and having a talk rather than letting them grow to adulthood never understanding our mind and bodies ability to create something from nothing (boogie men in the shadows) nor our abilities to deal with the fear of a truly dangerous and scary situation (flight fight or freeze).

I have never read my children scary books and they are not allowed to watch TV....yet 2 out of 3 like to have a nightlight....

I have NEVER told my children that shots hurt, yet they still don't like them...they figured out on there own that shots are painful....Or maybe its just my kids that feel pain....

I have never old my children to fear cops, my good friend is a cop, yet when I got pulled over for "suspicious behavior" for pulling over to buckle my 4 year old back into his car seat because he can unbuckle himself, he still cried " my mommy is not bad, don't take mommy to jail"....

Maybe kids are just a little smarter than you give them credit for...They DO pick up on the world around them....
