Anonymous Coward User ID: 35614593 Portugal 03/05/2013 09:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A RECENT INCREASE IN ELEVATED TSTMS HAS BEEN NOTED OVER NRN MS WITH STORMS LIKELY ROOTED WITHIN THE EML AND FORCED BY HEIGHT FALLS/DCVA AHEAD OF THE EVOLVING...LARGE-SCALE TROUGH. THESE STORMS SHOULD CONTINUE EWD WITH A RISK FOR SOME HAIL APPROACHING SEVERE LEVELS. SURFACE-BASED STORM DEVELOPMENT IS ANTICIPATED THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE COLD FRONT FROM NWRN GA INTO AL WITH ACTIVITY GROWING UPSCALE INTO A BROKEN CONVECTIVE BAND. GIVEN THE STRONG LOW-LEVEL AND DEEP-LAYER SHEAR FORECAST... THE POTENTIAL WILL EXIST FOR EMBEDDED BOWING AND/OR SUPERCELL STRUCTURES WITH A RISK FOR DAMAGING WINDS AND PERHAPS A TORNADO. EXPECT THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT TO DIMINISH LATER THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT AS THE BOUNDARY LAYER GRADUALLY COOLS AND STABILIZES. Quoting: abeliever Hopefully tomorrow Luis will tell us what is the true one. I'm in DC and they are saying 3-18" which is wild. They're saying they just don't know if it will strengthen in a big way. The kids are hoping on it! Wearing our pajamas inside out and backwards, and putting a spoon under the pillows.... LOL! I remember those days when my kids were kids :) Never heard of the spoon thing though. User ID: 22374259 United States 03/05/2013 11:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | o.k. - here is my dream from last night: my deceased mother in law was greeting people she passed by saying "sun-o, sun-o". she was japanese and normally they bow, but in the dream she was reverse bowing....like arching back and face up as if she were announcing it. and all the people she greeted laughed at her and seemed happy about it. so i googled "suno japanese" this morning and it is just a japanese way of saying "snow". like suno-mo-biru for snow mobil or suno-taiya for snow tire. |
