Discernment

What is discernment but being able to tell the truth from a lie?

Some may say that this is impossible because truth is subjective. To this I say, bullshit.

Some may say that is impossible because the world is rife with lies. To this I say equally, bull shit.


The secret to being able to discern the truth from a lie rests in time.

Just be patient, and the truth will always rise to the surface.



For example, lets suppose someone says they believe such and such is the way to live.

Yet they do not live that way.

When words do not meet one's actions, that is a lie.


And when one tells a lie, and the ease with which it can be done is discovered, then returning to the path of telling the truth becomes impossible, for it is much harder.


So, when you spot a lie, know that anything that comes from that mouth will be a lie.

No second chances.



Here is another example which you may have experienced yourself on this very forum.

Suppose someone who cannot tolerate a reasoned argument,

announces in frustration to the world that you have now

earned a place on their ignore list.

Yet, they seem never able to actually ignore you.

This person would be lying to you and themselves, and even

the whole world.

Why then would you give the words of such a one any further consideration.





Truth is crucified when lying is the tolerated norm.


Truth is buried when lying becomes preferred.


Truth is resurrected only when one says ENOUGH!
