Yes, no reason to think a mirror on the moon, if there was one or two, would reflect light at a brighter intensity than the moon surface.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838 You don't believe in retroflectors? Retroflective materials are used extensively on traffic signs here. I see them every day. They would indeed, if they were there, which they are not and is demonstrably another lie by NASA.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838 What? Not perhaps with the naked eye. But, most assuredly, with telescopes these brighter glints would be discernable if they were present.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838 You understand that retroflectors reflect most light directly back to where it came from? The Sun, the retroflector and the observer on Earth would only line-up during a lunar eclipse. Or even any shiny metal like the gold foil of the modules. These too would be greater reflective surfaces, which do not show up because they are not there.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838 I hope you are just poeing. The reflective surfaces you are talking about are small (the descend stage is about 6 metres across at its widest) and more than a lightsecond away. :classic-facepalm: Quoting: Halcyon Dayz, FCD The first line you quote was sarcasm on my part. Nothing you wrote refutes the fact that if there are reflective surfaces like mirrors and gold foil on the moon that they would show up as glints of light brighter than the ambient reflectivity of the moon's surface. There are not. Because there are no mirrors nor gold foil on the moon.
