Tell me, op, do you have a body or not? You can't preach leaving materialistic constructs while you still only see yourself as a "thing" that can be "locked" |

Tell me, op, do you have a body or not? You can't preach leaving materialistic constructs while you still only see yourself as a "thing" that can be "locked" My body is the seat of my soul, and the instrument from which my disembodied spirit is continuously generated. I do not believe in any kind of experienced afterlife existence for the soul/psyche/ego other than the one I experience while my body is intact. I guess you have a hard time grasping what I'm trying to say. “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. ... We need not wait to see what others do.” -Mahatma Ghandi |

Humans throughout history have used their insight into nature to conjure up these myth systems to classify aspects of the nature of things into mythological creatures/beings. I'm just beyond the whole atheist/agnostic/theist paradigm at this point. I would rather call myself an atheist. “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change.
