dark city the real inspiration behind inception and matrix

As to the "reality is an illusion" theme, these films are most important ever:
"13 Floor",
"Dark City",
"Matrix" (part one).



Due to my poor English, I cant explain all in details, but in these films there are many hidden signs, symbols, informations... In "13 Floor" there are only few, in "Dark City" and "Matrix" there are very much. "Matrix" was already analised as to the details many times, so check out yourself.

I can only tell something about "Dark City":

- check out whole film minute after minute and try to see all details as
-- every small texts on labels and everywhere,
-- road signs and informations,
-- ad`s on buildings, and in metro station,
-- neons on buildings (cinema theater especially),
-- symbols and writings in Walenski room (every second is importan here)
-- mural (is it correct in English for wall painting?) with two angled masonic towers, at the end of film...
And peraps many more details.
