Seriously. You can make your own anytime, complete with first person perspective piloting so you can pilot on your lazy boy, GPS, auto-pilot, the ability to pick up and drop stuff, night vision, etc. You can even control them with your phone or computer.

See? Drones have been around a while. They were once called RC vehicles. As time went on and technology increased, RCs blossomed as excellent technology got smaller and much, much cheaper. For instance, a GPS system for your hobby RC could have been a few thousand bucks 10 years ago. Now, you get them in your phone for free. It wasn't until the government weaponized these things that became known as DRONES.

I am not okay with government drones flying rampant, but I think there is going to be a new era of ignorance with these things, with people mistaking some dudes hobby for a military killing machine. Hobbyists fly their stuff in my area all the time. Now people are gonna be like "AAHHHH! DRONES!"

I think it would be funny if 10.000 people made themselves some cheap, throw away drones (under $200) and flew them around over Washington DC all on the same day.
