(OP) User ID: 19548546 Spain 03/19/2013 06:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I tried it once and it burned the bejeezus off of my armpits. I never tried it again. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23794435 The lady on the video said it stays irritated for THREE WEEKS? Was that your experience, OP? I'd like to try it again because I'd like to go natural, but it was painful! You see, I was expecting irritation too... but it just didn't happen in my case. Maybe that's because my armpits were already accustomed to lemon juice and alcohol. Weirdness isn't weird, here. So... no need to go "O_o"... but I can't help going O_o the most of the time! To O_o or not to O_o? |

Works for me and I live in Malaysia Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36335373 Thanks Malaysia as I was just telling a friend about my method which is the same as yours and I do not have any body odor (and I have a very sensitive nose). Same with sweating - Advertizers on tv got to people in the 1950s about both odor and sweating. Sweating is the body's natural way of cleansing impurities out and keeping cool in the summer. I used to sweat more when I was young (in varying) places, but it's eased off as I've aged; probably something to do with hormones or lack thereof. Bottom line; good hygiene = no odor. Case closed. I get your point, but I don't agree on that. No matter how clean I am, my armpits CAN smell. Not ultrabad, but still, haha... It depends on the person. Weirdness isn't weird, here. So... no need to go "O_o"... but I can't help going O_o the most of the time! To O_o or not to O_o? |

That ia like talc powder, a drier plus the Sodium Bicarb. is the agent that kills the bacteria that makes you smell. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31702961 You can use an essential oil if you want or Coconut oil, if you want but it is not necessary. I have used it since I began meditating in 1987. Aluminium in SURE Deodorant made me some painful sores in my armpits, so I came across Sodium Bicarb. It works great. I was born in87. I don't know who my real dad is : ( .....are you my dad mister?? |

I have good hygiene, but I can't be by a sink all through the day. If I get nervous, or it is very muggy outside, my pits can get smelly. I am going to try this method. I have tried so many natural deodorants, but I find that I have to keep applying them through the day to stay stink-free. LOL Thanks for sharing, OP! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 8084990 United States 03/19/2013 08:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | An entire thread full of fucktards. How could that happen? Dont put anything under your arms. Ever hear of lymph cancer? [link to www.deodorworks.com] They sell one for under your arms and a dildo shaped one for girls pussies. Once you see them then go to amazon and buy the $8 knock off ones. Be certain its medical stainless and not aluminum. They have some shaped like bars of soap as well. |

Maybe I'll rub coconut oil in first and then the soda. That might keep the irritation from hurting so much. Anyway, I'm glad to know the irritation will go away. I might try again. |

Quoting: Who. I've tried different methods, such as using lemon juice and plain alcohol, but the one that is working for me 100% is... is......... ...sodium bicarbonate! Yes, what they say it's true! It really, really works. Lemon juice is fine, but it can stain your clothes and the smell can still be there (less, but there). Alcohol... hm, I wasn't very pleased with the results. However, sodium bicarbonate has surpassed my expectations, really. I've been using it for two weeks and I've sweated a lot and NO bad smell at the end of the day. YOU MUST TRY IT and post here your experiences as well. Here's a good video showing how to use it: By the way, I know some of you call it "baking soda", but be careful, because I'm talking about pure sodium bicarbonate, so, this is not to be mistaken with baking powder! this skit was on awhile back...hehe.. |

Will definetly give some of these a try Quoting: F F S Not sure what "cyrstal stick" you are referring to, but if it is Alum based it is an aluminum containing mineral salt and I would certainly not consider it *safe*. |

It seems to be working thus far, but I can't thank the folks as they escorted me out of town. I'm going to shower more. Really. If I can just get these damn chickens to quit following me. |
