Anyone here like the band Tool?

can you honestly say that after becoming familiar with the music?? -yes, there is much anger in some lyrics, others much inspiration...but it all has a purpose, if you listen...most weren't written frivolously.


OK I am in a puscifer mood..ever decide to listen to a song that you know will take you somewhere you'd rather not, at the time..and go any way??

Saw em at the paramount and then key arena in seattle......fucking unbelievably killer shows both times, almost a cult experience

They're overrated. Check out Porcupine Tree and Opeth.

my 4 year old loves 'Vicarious' and 'Parabola'
I can't skip it while driving (not that I'd want to)
I don't own any actual albums on cd, I only have what I have gotten from itunes.

Used to like them. Musically, they're fucking boring, and 10,000 days is an awful album. They should have made more music in the 90's. Oh, and fuck Maynard. What a princess. Shitty singing voice and acts all high and mighty on stage.

Seen them 5 times and as early as 96' Seeing them open with my third eye was effing sick in front of about 1200 people in Toronto.

Maynard is ONE of the most powerful male singers of all freaking time, that my ears have ever heard.
NO QUARTER sung by Maynard is beyond.

I'm sure that's why, I love WA state to this day, they loved them some Tool!

Sigh,shows I'm getting old but, Maynard & Tool will always have my heart.
