Part I – The Plague




I’m really not sure what to make of this next part, so I’ll just give you the facts and let you, the reader, form your own opinions.

At the very beginning of the movie (1st part)….. there is a black screen that appears with a quote by TS Eliot: **you can see this in the link provided….it’s right before the song ‘Don’t Fear The Reaper’ by Blue Oyster Cult begins….. without more cowbell thumbs

‘This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
Not with a bang but a whimper.’

That’s on the regular film version VHS & DVD. Even when it’s on television, that quote is always shown. It really sets the pace of the movie I think and I’ve never NOT seen it.

Earlier, and the main reason for me posting this, is because I had turned the tv on and started the 1st part of the movie through Netflix. Where the TS Eliot quote should have been was a different quote. One that I’ve never seen attached to this movie ever (can another Netflix subscriber verify this please?). The TS Eliot quote was gone and replaced with this:

REV 6 – 8

And I saw a pale horse
And a pale rider upon it
And the name of the horse
Was pestilence
And the name of the rider
Was death.


*if there’s interest, I can summarize the other 3 parts of the movie for those who don’t have time to watch it. Just let me know.

I have seen so many instances of media manipulation to incorporate the prophecies in The Revelation, they do it to guide the masses' thinking in the channels they want.

The TS Elliot edit/change was a HUGE red-flag with me.

I'm a big SK fan - been reading his books since the late 70's and 'The Stand' (for whatever reason) has always been a massive favorite of mine.
When the movie originally aired, I watched it in real time. Then later, I bought the VHS tape (lol).... then a few years later, copied it from a televised rerun on cable.

And even tho I could repeat the dialogue with near 100% accuracy.... I still frequently watch/listen to it on Netflix/youtube.

I KNOW that movie..... and that TS Elliot quote is *part of the movie*

...it's not a disclaimer

...its no message from the radio/internet broadcasters

....it's not a 'message from our sponsors'

....it's *part of the movie*

Which means, someone didn't just edit something OUT

Someone ADDED SOMETHING IN

Which is a shit lot harder doing than just taking out some offensive language/sex scene.

Now.... why would someone go to the trouble to do this? What is gained to change some stupid little intro poem that most people wouldn't fucking notice or even care about? Why now after all these years? Who benefits? Who suffers? And who were the intended receivers?

Was it subliminal?

And if it WAS..... what was the REAL message being conveyed?
