He didn't write that poem, I think it was Robert Frost or something. Kings inspiration came from the poem.
Quoting: Baroness It was Robert Browning....but he did start writing the gunslinger in college based on that poem....sorry, I haven't slept in awhile.  No worries...and I probably won't sleep much tonight given the crazy storm pushing through. It's hitting here right now...LOL. you NE texas also? Lol yep. Power is out, and my kid's bedroom has a leak. Uggggh.
