Apparently the man was overheard saying that he was going to “take Obama out”. What makes this story even more interesting is that this suspect claims to be the son of late president Dwight D. Eisenhower, and even has the paperwork to prove it, according to local police."

Eisenhower for Alleged “Threats” Against Obama Dumb to make a threat, if he did. Why threaten? Just act if you are so inclined. God knows if we have ever really had a president killed by a civilian. Certainly Kennedy wasn't, and Reagan wasn't shot by one either. If Obama was taken out, it'd be done by the TPTB, not an ordinary person.
