The Canadian Pension Plan is over-funded and can take a prolonged hit on the fund if the economy tanks and/or as the Baby Boomers work through the system.
A lot of the fund is invested in transportation infrastructure throughout the world.
I am not worried about my government pension and will gladly keep paying my $4K contribution each year.
