This will have been the most idiotic move we have made, concerning NK.

We have just "lost face" with this fat, little dipshit, pisspot, psycho-fuckball.

We give that little Fat man way too much attention.

If he could harm America, he would have done so long ago.

Last week some scrip kidy’s hacked Kim’s home page, showing Kim with a Pigs nose.

And now we fear NK hacker geniuses take America’s internet down?whatever

Agreed. There will most likely be no EMP - nor Nuclear Destruction on the grand scale. TPTB (Vatican/Jesuits/Illuminati) don't want to live in an irradiated wasteland if they don't have to. I still think this is all a play though, and come April 10th, something will happen and the Norks will take the credit for it, whether they had anything to do with it or not - especially a "cyberwar" internet shutdown. The fascists in the US government has been trying to do that for years. Just blame it on someone else, and voila! All the flavor and none of the calories of a normal fascist sammich.

it will include electronic warfare not just Internet

it will be to disrupt C2 messaging that will kick into ultra high gear if there is such an attack

much of the comms infrastructure structure is EMP surviveable but there are other means to disrupt and that is what this means

a massive blinding electronic attack that will come if many forms

America has to spend some 680 billion a year on defence.

To be able to build something like an EMP capable device.

NK has a GDP of 40 billion a year.

It would kill us. You do get that right? It's a very quick cost effective way of turning the US into a nuclear wasteland. Every nuclear power plant and reactor in the country is a nuclear bomb in and of itself. Look at the map in the link below. The country is full of them. The states that don't have reactors are used to store nuclear waste. If the grid goes out the backup systems will only last for a limited time ,then every nuclear facility in the country will go into meltdown all at once. It will not be a survivable event.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37592356

Holy crap! I didn't think about that.
 Quoting: Listen_n

Yep. Not going to be survivable.
They supposedly have back up battery and generator systems that should give them enough power to shut them down in the event of an emergency. Those will most likely be fried too. Barring that if cars are fried the extra personnel needed to do that won"t be able to get there. All the nuclear facilities and reactors across the nation melting down at the same time....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37594640

oi although i am not adverse to instilling paranoia i do wish to point out at this moment that not "everybody" will die... nothing is that accurate!

also the back-up tech of these facilities is as such that they have accounted for such event s as EMP is not a new tech but maybe more potent.

also even if they do wish to purge the country of a number of the population they do not wish to make it a waste land as it would mean they would have to live out their lives under ground for at least 1,000 years.... they will not allow the nuke facilities to go into melt down... they will screw shit up other ways...

i do agree things look bleak but not sure how obamarama will play this one...

Re: North Korea plans cyberattack at 'moment of explosion'. MSM slowly breaking more SHTF news.
They've been breaking the news slowly to us.
First it was telling us not to worry about the bellicose rhetoric, they were harmless and never going to act on it.
Now they're giving us a date, telling us it won't surprise them when it happens, that we may not have access to computers, and slowly letting us know Korea is a bit more advanced than they've led us to believe.
Such a hateful place has surely dedicated all resources and planned this for a long time, they've let their people starve for this after all. I bet they've got some real goodies for us come April 10th, a real grab-bag of surprises at once.
It's funny how quickly this all became our new normal.

It cost the US that much because tptb can just pull money out of their asses and the military industrial complex is a pack of greedy theives. It's not difficult to figure out conceptually, nor to come up with a blueprint. Also, it's not money that makes things happen, it's power that does. A place as oppressive and controlled as NK has, I would think, a lot of power - at least in human power. They also sit on 6 trillion in rare earth minerals - exotic materials which can be easily adapted into advanced weaponry.

Keep it in a Faraday cage. All electrical equipment will survive an EMP attack of any kind as long as it's protected by a Faraday cage during the blast. Everyone should have one as part of their bug-out kit. Just a few electronics that you may need in the event of such a terrible thing happening.
