Time for some house cleaning? Brought to you by the same state that in 2009 issued a memo (from MIAC, a DHS fusion center) to it's state troopers warning them that libertarian candidate bumper stickers were a sign of a potential terrorist. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Time for some house cleaning? “Apparently from what I understand, they wanted to match up anyone who had a mental diagnosis or disability with also having a concealed carry license,” Schaefer said. I don't even live in Missouri and I am shitting golden bricks over this. They start getting too much heat on them so they ratchet up North Korea only to try to slide this type of crap through without anyone noticing. Why are legislators in Missouri not going after these troopers for BREAKING THE LAW?! Why are the people of Missouri not blocking access to the state trooper barracks until their leaders are brought to justice? That whole department needs to be shut down until this is resolved and someone is either sent to prison or hung for state level treason. (Not sure if Missouri has a provision or amendment for state level treason. Many other states do.) |

Time for some house cleaning? I knew this would happen. Get ready to see other states do the same. Back door registration. Quoting: PBJ11 It makes me wonder if the list of drugs/illnesses that disqualify you from ownership is anywhere near as large as the one New York is/might be using. The New York drug list thread is below if anyone is interested in the list. No confirmation of the list as far as I can tell, but certainly something to think about if nothing better. Thread: NY SAFE ACT - 75% of NEW YORKERS *Could* BE DISARMED - DRUG LIST INCLUDED... HAVE YOU TAKEN ONE? NOT JUST ANTIDEPRESSANTS! BTW, thanks for all the 5 stars and pin requests everyone. Time for some house cleaning? More information for those who don't know. The MIAC (Missouri Information Analysis Center) issued a strategic repot on the modern militia movement on 2-2-09 and sent it to their state troopers as an advisement on who to consider a threat. Articles about it in the news: [link to www.columbiatribune.com] [link to www.foxnews.com] Resolution to the MIAC report controversy in 2009 [link to www.newswithviews.com] [link to www.lpmo.org] Following that public relations failure, the DHS tried to make it official and national (worse) by issuing several reports about different kinds of alleged threats including a Rightwing Extremism Assessment on 4-7-09. There were also other reports covering other groups. DHS secretary Nepolitano defended it. After public outcry Nepolitano apologized to those who felt offended, but the report was not withdrawn. Here are some articles about it from then.
