wow been drinking grass fed butter + coconut oil blended into organic coffee for breakfast, energy off the roof
feel like im on meth, but it's clean as hell and no skittish, the amazing thing about this is that you don't get hungry for hours doing this and have crazy energy and mental focus and clarity. i had a large cup of coffee this morning mixed with 5 tble spoons of grass fed butter and a hunk of coconut oil and ive been on a 45 min intense bike ride and it's 2pm and im still not hungry and still have a ton of energy! got the idea from dave asprey bullet proof coffee heres some more info

"Coffee Is Better With (Grass-Fed) Butter

We’re serious.

Bulletproof Coffee is a mixture of high quality grass-fed butter, pharmaceutical grade MCT oil, and specially selected Upgraded™ Coffee Beans. This drink is becoming wildly popular for several reasons:

It makes you feel energized, alert, and focused all day without the crash of commercial energy drinks.
It melts body fat and can increase muscle mass. One of our clients lost 75 pounds in 75 days using Bulletproof Coffee as a part of his Bulletproof Fasting custom protocol.
It’s made with high quality unsalted grass-fed butter, so it tastes great and provides important fatty acids like CLA."

"So I use the lowest toxin, highest performance coffee there is (I know, because I created it and tested it!), brew it, and then I blend unsalted grass-fed butter into it. Yes, butter. All the benefits of healthy milk fat with none of the damaging denatured casein proteins found in cream. It makes for the creamiest, most satisfying cup of coffee you’ve ever had. It will keep you satisfied with level energy for 6 hours if you need it. And because I’m having it for breakfast, I’m programming my body to burn fat for energy all day long!"

"Grass-fed butter is much healthier than other butter. It doesn’t make cholesterol levels worse, it optimizes them! Starting your day with grass-fed butter will give you lots of energy and it will give your body healthy fats that it will use to make cell walls and hormones.

If you’re like most of my friends who try this, your body is so starved for healthy fats that you feel like you can’t get enough. It will take your body a week or two to fully turn on its fat digestion systems when you switch to a high healthy fat breakfast of Bulletproof coffee. If at first it is a little too rich, try using less butter at first and build up to the amount you like. Taking a betaine HCl or digestive enzyme supplement with your coffee will also help your body digest the butter."

Interesting. I've heard of mixing high vitamin grass fed butter and cod liver oil, but not gf butter and coconut oil. I wonder if it has the same effect and if the coffee makes any difference. Will check it out. Thanks.

the body needs fats to make and regulate hormones.

Hormones help people to loose weight and give energy.

Coconut I think has anti-viral and anti-microbial lysine or monolauren in it and helps to de-stress the thyroid.

A good functioning thyroid along with fats will raise blood/oxygen levels and body temp which boosts metabolism.

at least that's what I have found.

but 5 tbsp yikes.

I do something similar with a product called DandyBlend. It is a powdered instant drink made from roasted dandylion root, chicory root, barley, rye and one other grain. Just wonderful all fatted up. I also use a smidgen of stevia.

I switched to a high fat diet 2 1/2 years ago. It has made a huge difference in my life, for the better.

5 tble spoons of butter in the coffee is nothing, u people are very misinformed.

grass fed butter is one of the most healthy foods on the planet, you can have 20 tble spoons in your coffee and be fine, and top shitloads of grass fed butter throughout the day on every meal

there's a major difference between grass fed butter and regular corn fed butter

here's a ufc fighter blending some grass fed butter into his coffee (coffee made with a french press)

ufc fighters have million dollar nutritionists

Synchronicity! I was just reading about this last night! Do you use Kerrygold butter, OP? I want to try this, but do not have a local source for grassfed butter...

I also started taking fermented cod liver oil and high vitamin butter oil this week. Good stuff.
