Offer Upgrade  User ID: 22362616  United States04/13/2013 02:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cop gets busted with four ounces of marijuana, sale, manufacturing in a school zone - gets charges dismissed Marijuana charges against Connecticut State Marshal dismissed Alan Freedman, 59, of 2 Chelene Road, had faced charges of possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, sale within the distance of a school and illegal manufacture, distribution, sale or prescription. The charges were nolled. Frank DiScala, who represented Freedman, declined to comment on the matter, as did State's Attorney Nichol Peco, the prosecutor on the case. DiScala had earlier filed a motion to suppress evidence in the case due to a lack of probable cause. Freedman was stopped by Officer Christina Capela after driving his 2004 Hyundai Accent through a red light near Post Road Diner at 3:55 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2012, police said. He identified himself as a state marshal and even passed Capela his badge when he handed her his license and registration, police said. [link to www.thehour.com]  Go Amurka! My friend was a computer programmer!!! He was smoking a joint!!! WTF |
