I have cancer

I've been really trying to explain and understand this myself.

I have had this happen, not only with Jeff, but another person I "met" online. It's a strange feeling when you are emotionally stirred by a person you have never met. It's like there is no separation in time and space, and your friendship was always there.

I absolutely agree we are all connected in ways we just can't understand, at least for now.

Dear Jeff and Reta (and all your loved ones), i hope and pray that you can feel a hundred thousand angels surrounding you at all times.

You both are true inspirations to us all.

Thank you for the update. I am glad that he has someone there with him. I wish I was close by, but northwest Indiana is pretty far from Fort Worth,Texas. :(

If anyone is a member of AR-15 can you please tell them about this thread also? I think it would be nice for Jeff to hear from us as well.

I'm thinking that I am going to print this thread and send it to his family, so that it may bring them some comfort.

I don't know that Reta and family know about this thread.

I know, I feel pretty helpless too. I'm in NE OHIO and can't do much other than watch from afar.

Praying for you Jeff. You have been so heavy on my mind today.

Just going to carry this over from the other thread because it is comforting to think of and well its important especially in times like this. I hope it comforts someone else as well.

Finding the words is hard right now. I have never met you but I feel like you are a friend.

Jeff you put up a good fight, I hope you are comfortable right now. I remember the post you made about the man coming to pray with you in the hospital and how you felt like you had lifted from your body. I hope right now all fear and pain has been lifted from you. I am so sorry. You helped so many people realize there were too many wonderful moments we were allowing to pass by. You were a gift to many of us, it is a gift I wish I could repay to you.

Sad to read the latest update. I know most non GLP people support mainstream medicine. Here most support alternative treatments. I so wished they had spent all that time and money on supporting his immune system. When conventional medicine fails why do people believe the best was done?

I hope hospice is keeping Jeff comfortable and that his family gets the support they need.
