Re: I have cancer
I came across this thread tonight for the first time. It makes you see how precious family, friends and our health is.

I went through about 90% of the posts, reading from page to page. When it came to the last days I just started crying.

Although I did not know Jeff or participate in this thread, I feel like I did know him. He made me realize that slowing down and enjoying what we have now is more important than thinking about tomorrow and only living for tomorrow.

Reading the posts, I saw the beauty in people too. Everyone pulled together and gave their energy and cared for his well being. The greatest gift we as humans have, is love.

Rest in peace Jeff. Heaven is a beautiful place to rest.

Sorry! Didn't know I had to pay to be able to reply to a message?? That sucks. Jeff has been donating for a long time. Thought he did it just because he loved the site :) Hell, I better check our paypal account. We're probably still donating!

Hope you found some peace Jeff... I've thought your original post often as I have Lymphoma (the non-cureable). It's weird to think I've made it this far.

I hope your family knows how special your post was to me. I read it in the hospital. It didn't feel so lonely knowing someone understood.
It kinda feels lonely now.

I'll look you up soon ;)

Reta, Jeff's account is still active from the looks of it. I know someone upgraded it. I'm not sure how you could switch it, but if you can get hold of one of the mod's, they'll be able to help you out. You can start a thread asking for a mod's help. Just keep bumping it until they notice. Hope that helps.

Reta,

I know the mods gave Jeffry a free update for a year but, I think all you will have to do to stop billing is go into the paypal account and cancel the subscription.
Hope this helps.

So sorry to read your post AC.Sadly most the forums I go to either have some very sick members or have lost quiet a few in recent months. Its happening far to often.
It hurts my heart to know so many are suffering.
Are you a regular here AC?

Bless your heart! My heart aches for anyone going through anything like what Jeff went through. I just attended a memorial for one of my bosses. He fought colon and liver cancer for 3 years, then he went so fast. Too fast. He and his family demonstrated such strength.

I wish you nothing but the best on your journey. And may you find peace, whether here or on the other side. hf

Re: I have cancer
I am sorry to hear that. I found a website the other night www.cancerfightingstrategies.com that has a lot of good information.

I am a cancer survivor, 38 years now cancer free. I do everything I can to try to prevent getting another form of it. I take 22 supplements a day, drink 2 cups of hot organic lemon and ginger tea every morning, 6 oz of pineapple juice and powdered zeolite every morning, vegetable juices made with a juicer, fruit smoothies, non-flouride toothpaste, alkaline water, grass-fed beef, cage free eggs, no sugar, corn, wheat, dairy, processed foods.

It is a full time job just trying to stay healthy. At age 66 I am very healthy for now. I have lost a sister, father, step-father, numerous aunts and uncles and cousins all to some form of cancer. I have a good friend fighting it now and my fiancé's sister has rectal cancer, stage 4. I found that website above with lots of great information. It is a lot to read but well worthwhile. Best of luck to you. I will be praying for you.

Unpearled WHOLE BARLEY will fix almost anything due to its Tocotrienol and Beta-glucan content.

In the past few years I've lost 4 out of 5 (that passed away)family members to cancer.

In the past year and a half have had 5 people in my family diagnosed with cancer, 3 of which had the tumor removed and are cancer free. 2 other are still fighting it but are late stages of cancer.

Cancer sucks!

I'm glad you are cancer free and found ways to keep it that way. Many blessings to you.

Reta- Its so nice you are throwing together a party in memory of Jeff. I wish I could go. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
