I hear you! Nobody in our family will be going to downtown DC until further notice. My daughter's TaeKwonDo demo team was invited to perform at the Korean Embassy but I told her there is no way she is going. Grandmaster is a bit annoyed with me but he respects my decision as her mother. Just too dangerous and scary down there with all the crazy stuff unfolding. I did the same thing, only it was a day field trip to D.C. My kids are pretty upset, they do not fully understand, but it is for their own good. I promised that I would take them after soccer is done. See this is how smart people think. Do not go to large events immediately after something like this took place. But I saw vigils with groups of people on the news earlier. They have not officially caught the perpetrator or perpetrators. Why would you be that dimwitted to put yourself into a large group at this time? Uffda. Just be low-key for a while. |
