This is the fuckin' guy they have in the NBC Story anyway, he's an Elvis impersonator (who's not very good at it), claims Mensa Membership, Animal Rights Activist, and some kind of "whistleblower" on a body parts harvesting operation?!?!? Who claims to be non-aligned politically...

Curtis, a Corinth resident, might be better known to some as a celebrity impersonator.

According to GigSalad.com, a website dedicated to booking live entertainers, Curtis does impersonations of “70 of the biggest names in music history,” including Elvis, Johnny Cash, Prince, Bon Jovi and Kenny Chesney.

On the website, Curtis goes by the stage name “KC,” which was used in the letters sent to Obama and Wicker and to Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland.

“I am KC and I approve this message....”

According to the story at the NBC link, ricin has not been confirmed, only a "field test" indicated it might be present. So the federal government is sophisticated enough to screen letters to government officials, but can't get actual lab results to verify the screening? You'd think it would be kind of a priority and that they could get a lab tech to run this on a quick turnaround, but maybe they're all busy with more important stuff.

In the meantime, it sounds like they found the supposed perp because he put his return address on at least one of the envelopes. While you've got to admire their detective work, it wouldn't be too surprising to find out that a concerned citizen spilled his castor oil at a bad moment in history.

BTW that was a "Federal official" talking to NBC...so there ya go...lotion...definitely castor oil hand lotion...

Open and shut case right? We'll see. It's so far unclear if there's a harmful amount of ricin on the letters. To give the suspect the benefit of the doubt, one federal official told NBC News that the sender of the letters "may have stumbled onto something." We're not sure exactly what it means, but it sort of sounds like they're not ruling out the possibility that this person wasn't exactly a seasoned terrorist.
