EXACTLY! There are photos of them almost directly where one bomb went off. Seconds later, they are in the street, turned around looking at the scene and talking on cell phones. You can see the chaos all around them.

Then, the next photos show them behind the finish line...and a black SUV with satellite dishes on it....which leaves the area.

They should be the ones that stay there and help. Instead, they report it and leave!!!!!!!!

you're asking the wrong questions. it's quite obvious that if they were there, they were paid to be there. Aren't you expected to do your job if you're being paid? apparently, preventing an attack and helping victims of an attack were not part of their paid job.

i'll add my 2 cents then scram, but are there as many hi def pictures of other spots along the raceway as there was here? I understand people will be taking pictures, and would want to send them in, but damn, there are a lot of pictures of the right place, the right time, and of the right people. Not to mention photos of specops and where they were as well as what they were doing.

They are there as experts / consultants. The government hires them to do work like intelligence, security, risk mitigation, etc.

These aren't your average keyboard commandos, they're all former military, vast majority are spec ops. So it's a way for the gov't to keep employing the people they trained but who got tired of being sent to every sh-thole in the world to fight BS fights for no good reasons.

They're hired because they present a more cost effective way of putting the best trained individuals on the ground wherever they're needed. It's cost effective because the gov't doesn't pay their salary 24/7 365, they pay only when they're working. And no pensions, healthcare, risk pay etc.
