Still looking for the photo that shows the 2 guys that were against the building...out in the street, looking at the scene....but not the small one, the big photo.

Wtf is their function though? They didn't do shit to prevent it or to help after it happened. Pictures show most of them behind the Finish line after the explosions.

Totally agree... those are the real questions behind the drama. Either they knew about it, or worse, helped plan it. Something is very weird about their presence there.

Their presence there isn't weird. What's weird is they did nothing to help as far as I can tell. It seems they were observing, reporting and then left.

2) These are the guys, that were standing against a building just down from the Finish line, not far from where the explosive went off. Then, in this photo, you can see they walk straight out into the steet to observe the chaos. Interesting how strategically placed they were for the first explosive.

Was also wondering. Why carry such a large bag for a securing mission or a drill?
Wouldn't they be carrying guns instead or demining equipment?

Go to CBS news, and look at picture number 32. At the lower left of the screen (behind the guy with the blue jacket) are three more people wearing the Craft International signature uniforms: dark jackets, khaki pants, camo combat boots. Running away from the blast. One appears to be a woman.

They're not there to prevent it. As you can see on the images, they immediately deployed radiation detectors etc. Their job is to gather intelligence for other agencies. Ensuring that the responding agencies have the right information.

Their jobs would have been to try and determine if there were any other risks involved for responders, such as radiation, chemical, biological agents dispersed etc.

These groups are basically at EVERY large event, since large events are prime targets for terrorism. It doesn't mean that it was a known threat, ALL events are treated as potential targets.

Hell yeah. Craft is one of the best out there too. And they believe more in America then 7/8ths of the posters on GLP, and have shown that by putting their asses on the line multiple times before being hired so you keyboard commandos out there can slam the US as much as you want. In case you forgot, people die for those rights for you, assholes.

These operators are bound by very strict contracts on what they can and cannot do on an assignment and those terms are strictly laid out. Had they shot one the guys that's on the run now, asshats here would be yelling they were executing people at will and that would be another furor.

There is probably some intel out there that was heard before the Marathon happened. What that was, who knows. But as of now there's so much we don't know, and we can conjecture till our keyboards wear out but it's still conjecture. Until you find some hard evidence that Craft contractors were being nefarious, we have to assume they were there for a reason. Besides, they stick out like sore thumbs and if they weren't supposed to be there, dontcha think they would blend into the crowds rather then walking down the middle of the streets?
