And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. -Heed the warning or endure the mourning Favor ain't fair |

These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. 17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods. 18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. 19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord's servant? 20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. -Heed the warning or endure the mourning Favor ain't fair |

I guess we will have to agree to disagree because the 2 witnesses are clearly a priest and a king and the bible shows those 2 offices are to be kept separate. Read the story of king uzziah who tried to be the priest and king and then was struck with leprosy. Also watch the video I posted a couple up it shows how the word anointed can be singular or plural When something is joined in union it is considered 1. Not 2 just 1...I can tell from your posts that this is something you cannot accept. The "Branch" is the ones building the temple which is Joshuah the priest and zerubbabel the king. They are 2 different people but are considered "the man" the Branch.........really my posts just make you angry and are of no value to you. Why do you visit them? 12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold "the man" whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord: 13 Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. -Heed the warning or endure the mourning Favor ain't fair |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22728347 The two witnesses are referred to as they/them in(Rev.11). Then in another thread you say the two witnesses are Adam and Eve. And you show where God said he was to bless them and they were to be fruitful and multiply. How you get the two witnesses out of that, and then say later in this thread that the two witnesses are not representative of a male (Adam) and Female (Eve) but two males, contradicting your own words. Now, throughout this thread and some of your other threads; you take what is obviously referring to a single individual him/his/he in the passages and you change it to a them/they concept. It seems you want it to work, however, you can manipulate the word of God to propagate your own personal meaning. Regardless, of how many changes you must make; adding to and taking from God's word is not the proper course of deciphering the word. God says him/he/his, God means him/his/he, not them/they! These passages are evidently speaking about an individual not two or a group or of any private interpretation. These passages are speaking of an individual, singular, not plural. God is not the author of confusion, God is able to make plain that which is spoken. God doesn't need any adding or subtracting from his word to make a new sound or project a new meaning or to bring about a perfected interpretation. Through this effort, this leads whole passages of the word toward a completely different direction then what it was intended to accomplish..the correct interpretation! I guess we will have to agree to disagree because the 2 witnesses are clearly a priest and a king and the bible shows those 2 offices are to be kept separate. I visit your posts because I believe we should question scripture contents applied in different manners. These concepts should not just be complied with simply because you do not want to run into any disagreement from other. If you desire to post controversial comments, perhaps you should expect adverse reactions. The solution is to defend your position in a logical order. Not to just tell the person not to visit your post. If everyone that post got upset because they didn't like anyone disagreeing with them, well that would seem rather silly wouldn't it. Calm down OP I am not your enemy. I just do not agree with your interpretation of certain portions of Scripture. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22728347 That still has no bearing on these passages, on this individual. Under that logic every passage in the Bible speaking about an individual could be assumed it was referring to two individual or more, simply because they are anointed. User ID: 14034394 United States 04/24/2013 10:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Very nice job and a hearty well done Waterman! You have it right. May I add this. Joshua and Zerubbabel represent the 144,000, of which the two witnesses are part of! Half will be kings and half will be priests! They will be a type of Joshua and Zerubbabel. A clue to this is in Zechariah 3:8 Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH. It applies to him and his companions, and notice they are a wondrous sign! Nice post! deplorably republican |

User ID: 2217240 United States 04/24/2013 11:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. Quoting: waterman 4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Ok, now this is pure awesomeness. In my research... 'garments' are linked to DNA. So when I read that he gets new clothes, I'm expecting to hear something like... he's been upgraded. ...and there it is!!! "For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof" This is the matching text in Revelation... Revelation 2:17 "To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it" That's the DNA upgrade we will get! Good stuff waterman. |
