How does DNA prove that the human mind was here before the universe, we probably would have been floating around as energy then, how can a body survive without the universe and just energy wouldn't be made up of DNA, right?

Yes, very interesting. Similar thing started happening to me on the edge of sleep. The first time, I thought it was an earthquake. It felt like my whole bed was buzzing.

Well, beyond our physical bodies we have a mind, or a soul which is known as our human consciousness. This consciousness is contained within our DNA. It is all the thoughts, memories, experiences and feelings and knowledge that you have accumulated throughout your life; as well as the blueprint for how your body will function and behave; hereditary health issues that you will pass on through your offspring or that were passed onto you through your parents.

When someone is born they carry copies of these above named items within their DNA, thus everytime someone is born, generation after generation; these things are carried into the future. It is theorized that within DNA are the building blocks for all existence, such as in astralphysics and the electric universe. They are comprised of the same elements as the properties in our DNA. This is astounding!

So what excites me is that when we die our human conscious lives on in the DNA and now we know that the building blocks for the universe are the same as ours which makes us a part of all things. Our mind, or soul; our consciousness is alive forever.

My dear friends, sorry for the above post, but I felt it necessary to set the record straight with that individual.

My thread is strictly about my own personal observations and study with respect to DNA and human consciousness; and the amazing discoveries and findings that show we are interrelated with the structures that bind the entire universe together. My conclusions are my own. And they excite me to the core!

While I do appreciate your interest in furthering my education on the matter of the 'science of consciousness'; I have not laid claim to having any academic credentials.

My interest is purely 'intellectual curiousity' and I would appreciate it if you would keep your unkind snobbery off of my thread.

And I just read the wikipedia page on fractals. And, no I hadn't heard of them. Perhaps you could explain why you have asked me that :)

You have found another "believer" here. I am a computer programmer and to me it is completely obvious that the code of DNA really is just that - a binary code, meaning that there was some kind of intelligence necessary to 'encode' life as we know it. Especially when you consider that there are 4 bases, from which there are only 2 actual pairings - A-T (1) and C-G (0) - which in essence form a kind of binary code of greater complexity, given the 3 dimensionality it has compared to just 1's and 0's in linear fashion. And it should be noted that I came to these realizations on my own, long before the current theories out there.

To me, this has some profound implications, the first being that life was 'programmed' by some higher intelligence - it didn't just spontaneously arise from random mutations. Oh, there might have been some mutations in there too, but the underlying structure of DNA is far too complex to have happened by chance.

It also means that DNA is rather like a computer program, instructing our cells, tissues and organs on what to do, when and how to do it, etc. I think it also has some effect on our mental processes, maybe in ways we don't fully understand yet.

And if it is like some kind of program, that means that there should be a way to make modifications or upgrades to that program, adding new capabilities and functionality not available before. To me, this is a perfect explanation of how modern society, i.e. language, agriculture, etc, seemed to arise almost spontaneously - we were simply given an 'upgrade' as a race, and voila! Sound far fetched? Perhaps.

It also explains how some people seem to just be on a different level than most - people like Socrates, Buddha, Da Vinci, Newton, Christ, Tesla - they had different 'features' in their programs, like being upgraded from Word 2010 to Word 2012 or something - they are features available that weren't there in previous 'versions.'

I could go on and on and on, but suffice it to say, the more I study about it and combine it with what I know about programming, information theory, spirituality and quantum physics, the more I think that this is really what it's all about. I think that in the days and years to come, we will all come to a whole new understanding of what Christ REALLY meant when he said "The Kingdom of God is within you."

Thank you soooo much QuantumKev for this extremely thought provoking and informative post! I do not have any knowledge, other than basic, of computer programming, so it was gratifying to hear from a professional that my personal observations and theory somewhat mesh with a person as knowledgeable as yourself.
I completely embrace the concept that our humanity, universe and the human consciousness were divine design and not at all random chance!
In fact, the more 'all schools of thought' share in the quest for the absolute truth behind the origin of man and the known universe the more exciting the grand picture becomes as the puzzle pieces begin to fall into place. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and thoughts.

Just read through the first few pages of this website and it is very exciting. They really are beginning to 'put the pieces together'. They specifically mention that Darwin himself was most dismayed with the perfection of 'design' in nature; and was troubled by it !!
