(OP) User ID: 20953387 United States 05/17/2013 02:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tyler Durden: I see all this potential, and I see it squandered. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables - slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war... Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off. Lisa, if you don't like your job you don't strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That's the American way. Television! Teacher, mother, secret lover. |

The world doesn't revolve around you in social situations. You're just part of the crowd and most people won't even notice you, as long as you don't take your trousers off and shit on the dinner table. |

"Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people." Matt 4:23 Jesus is a healer of EVERY kind of sickness. I suffered from depression for years and received healing by reaching out to him through prayer. I never took medication or had therapy. The core of this problem is physical response. The legal herbs are great advice. Too, if you can get yourself toward new physical responses. Hold a golf tee in your hand so hardly noticable. Engrave it in your palm so hard it almost hurts. Talking to people will become associated with hand irritation, less painful than awkward shyness. Then downgrade that. You see? Also, talking is a tongue moving activity. Nothing else. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1524022 United States 05/17/2013 03:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | social anxiety is self-absorption from the negative end of the spectrum. get yourself off your mind. literally. it's not about you. i'm not being mean. i'm telling you the truth. focus on the other people and when you start putting the focus back on yourself in a negative way, change your focus back to the other person. get. yourself. off. your. mind. it looks like you stole this persons post from page 1 Stop thinking about yourself! Truly, get your thought off of yourself and think only of the person or persons you are talking to. If you don't know WHO you are in Christ I highly reccommend you find out because that will change you for the better! Blessings to you! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32331937 |

Doctors always go for the big Anti-depressants now, but if you can find one to give you Valium I think it will help. Other than that I don't know what to tell you. I hate leaving the house. Why? Because people are assholes. Try to ram my car or run me off the road, or tell me off, or just nasty, or unbelievably stupid. Hell I haven't even had a simple fast-food order given to me correctly in I don't know how long. It's getting useless to try and communicate out there. Hang in there though. I don't think we necessarily share the same world view or politics, but we all have something in common - we are starting to hate PEOPLE. LOL |
