User ID: 25045778 United States 05/20/2013 07:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | you can feel the Evil in the air in the midwest today. I know that sounds strange to the average person, but If you are spiritual you know what Im talking about. Quoting: Archie My mother can always sense it when someone will get hit by a big tornado, she called me this morning and said she could feel it in the air, i felt it too, and here we are. Same thing during the Texas and Joplin Tornadoes. Its strange. Everyone be in prayer for these people. Ask the Lord to help, guide, and direct them to safety in the coming hours I know exactly what you are saying... on a side note.. In Illinois...calm at the moment, but the pressure is unbelievable...feels like my head is going to explode, everyone is grouchy. I understand why animals are upset by severe storms, you get the strong feeling to just RUN..get away from the unbearable pressure of it all..you can feel it..oppressive and painful. ETA...and yes...prayers to all those affected and still in the path of the storms..:) Last Edited by Abi ~ on 05/20/2013 07:43 PM You accept the love you think you deserve~~~ Love cannot live where there is no trust~~~ Truth has no temperature~~~ Love like it's never gonna hurt~~~ Have no regrets~~~ |

User ID: 24568365 United States 05/20/2013 07:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think this tornado was man-made. There has NEVER been a tornado 2 miles wide that I can remember of. Something is not right here. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13127957 Oklahoma -- the heart of tornado alley --has only been settled and documented to keep track of such things for about a hundred years. Nobody knows what kind of tornados might have occured in centuries past. Or even decades past, since we have only recently invented equipment to really measure tornados. Huge tornados are probably normal, rare but normal. I Support Our First Responders |

(OP) User ID: 32966453 United States 05/20/2013 07:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | People gave OP hell and acused of fear mongering. Now we know it was a huge tornado that hit a school. Sad vindication for OP, but OP was correct. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36686741 Thanks but you're right - it's so sad... My first pin ever and it had to be about something like this... I'm watching the thread but mostly I've been praying about those kids.... I'm hoping the reports about the 24 are wrong or greatly exaggerated but even just hearing about that 7 month old at 7-11 is enough to make me sob... 75-100 horses dead too at just that one farm... Adults dying is sad and tragic. But kids and animals are just too hard to fathom. My heart is so heavy... |

Damn it. Damn it. You know, that really makes the heart hurt. What a horrible tragedy. They may have only had 8 minutes of warning. This tornado went from nothing to massive in a very, very short period of time. Stunningly fast. I only had about 8 or 10 minutes warning that it was inbound to Moore. I'm from this area and this tornado is 3 to 4 time as bad as the worst tornado... there is also 75 students and staff that could be still trapped. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37614430 Its no longer a search and rescue but a recovery. Devastating..... primarily 3rd graders hanging on in the hallways to survive..... dozens..... I'm crying Looks like 24 little angels have left us.... At least 24.... if you watched the news you will notice the first responders are the locals and the school decided to keep them... don't rely on anyone to keep your children safe. |
