Quebec has demanded that ALL of Canada serve them in French. Our government services must be in French, all public servants must speak French in all of Canada whether or not anyone for miles around does. Quebec construction workers demand the right to work in any province. All labels must be bilingual. All traffic signs must be bilingual.

However, if you go to Quebec it is illegal to have a sign in English. You cannot work in Quebec on construction jobs unless you are from Quebec. All traffic signs are in French only. Even paramedics do not have to speak English, in fact they are trying to restrict the English language being taught in schools. It got so bad that a paramedic refused to help a child because the father did not address him in French!

The ironic part? Quebec French is so bastardized that I doubt anyone from France could understand them.

Most French people here in Ontario are rude and ignorant, demanding their rights while, as in Quebec, refusing to acknowledge the rights of others.

When they wanted to separate they really thought they could leave while retaining all the benefits of being Canadian. They forgot that the majority of their province belongs to Natives who seem to prefer to remain Canadian.
