A couple of issues i have with christianity in general

If you didnt want adam and eve to eat from the tree of life why tell them about it, why even give them access??

If lets say i had 2 five year old children and i always kept a bag of psychadelic mushrooms on my nightstand or even better the kitchen table, would i expect them not to ever try them even if i told them not to?? Lets say for 1 second that mushrooms taste like apples and these kids like regular muchrooms as much as apples.

When the police show up and ask why johnny & jill did something horible while high on psychadelic mushrooms am i going to say " i told them not to eat of those mushrooms" , but hey i didnt take away their freewill.
