ABC world news just ran a segment on an outbreak of hepatitis A linked to an organic product sold at COSTCO.

COSTCO has pulled the product from it's shelves. The FDA hasn't even issued a recall.

Of course they choose to air this segment, but won't touch a story that has the potential to put Monsanto in a bad light.

COSTCO is one of the few left who sell real organic products.

The time has come for congress to declare war on Monsanto.

Wow, that is about every food producer in the store.

All these companies produce processed foods which you should not be eating anyway.

I cook my own food from raw fruits and veggies I get at farmer's market or small Indian food stores. Eventually I am going to have to start growing my own food because I can't trust even that food is not GMO.

Rule of the wise. If the produce does not have seeds in it (seedless watermelon for example) it is gmo.

AS much as I hate what Monsanto is doing, that list is just downright false.

V8 is certainly a healthier choice than pop or koolaid or even fruit juice probably.

I think it has MSG in it though.

There are usually store brand versions of V8 type vegetable juice on the shelf beside the V8 - much less expensive.

I guess I'll make more of a point of buying the store brand even though I don't buy juice very often (too heavy to carry and I don't like the idea of the MSG in it).

The subject line is misleading, the article says those brands "use Monsanto ingredients".

yes as you can see the list includes all the food you grew up eating, and have probably kept as a regular part of your diet.

Now you cannot un-know this, please go out into the world and change it with your purchasing power.

Stop feeding these beasts your money. Go to farmer's markets when you can, buy organic (organic never contains GMO) at the supermarket when you can, simplify your diet, try to take as much pre-processed foods out of your diet as possible. Just eat whole un-adulterated foods, veggies fruits, nuts, eggs.

And tell your family and friends, explain to them the dangers of GMO/Round-Up/Glyphosate, help save a few lives as well as your own.

The Democrat Republican party system works for Monsanto among other such as Goldman Sachs, Big Pharma etc.

I think it means these companies all use Monsanto ingredients such as Coke uses high fructose corn syrup.



Still a good list because even if they're not owned by Monsanto, they use Monsanto ingredients.

Also, to get a bigger idea of the "brands" to avoid, Google the food producer's and look at their wikipedia page so you know what brands they own aside from just their flagship company brand.

For instance, it lists Aurora Foods (which isactually called Pinnacle Foods). They own the brands Celeste pizza, Swanson frozen dinners, Duncan Hines, Hungry Man, Bird's Eye and other brands.

I believe that list is inaccurate and that it's way bigger than that.

Do you know what monsanto did before they became responsible for feeding america?

They were responsible for hundreds of thousands of deformed babies in vietnam as a result of reckless spraying of agent orange during the vietnam war.

And now they are feeding you and your (future?) children.
