Look at propane. What a deal!
Maybe some places are still converting gassers over to propane? Used to be you could switch between gasoline and propane if you had a carburetor kit installed. Unlikely it is that easy now, but maybe you have an older auto?
Propane burns with no residue and virturally no pollution. Spark plugs and oil lasts much longer. Not as many BTUs as diesel, but neither has gasoline.
Nice to have a propane generator, at least til the costs catch up.
Flying J is about the best truck stop chain going. Man, you can sure see that you want to avoid buying fuel in some states or towns.
If you are making a trip, this is a nice tool for planning. Seems like, you can pay cash and save another couple of cents. Not a bad deal. |
