Wall Street did something like this for the first time back in 2011, and to participate, around 40 firms paid from $1,000-$10,000 to participate, (depending on their size). The first Quantum Dawn simulated armed gunmen running around lower Manhattan "trying to get access to exchanges and just try to blow things up," said said Karl Schimmeck, vice president of financial services operations at SIFMA, the trade group that organizes the simulation.
