Of course this is an issue about money as well. But I stopped upgrading my PCs. Its better to buy an all new one, mainly because if you upgrade your CPU or something you have useless components lying around. If you buy a new machine you can use the old one as a media center, dedicated emulation machine or something.
Quoting: Face Palmer Plus no one gives a fuck about a tricked out computer so the resale value is horrible. Buy a high-end CPU and be patient, save yourself a few grand.
