I also have Asperger's but tbh it's other folk that look on it as being a hindrance. I am happy and content with my own company but well meaning folk seem to think I should be going out socialising and that I must be lonely. Lol, socialising? Lonely? The first word strikes fear into me and the second, well to me there isn't such a thing as when I am alone I am at my happiest.
I have adapted my life to fit in around things that I just can't do. I am self employed and have turned the businesses into rental businesses so I don't have to go out and instead the rental income is brought to my house each week.
A guy once said to me 'To look at you, you look like a woman of the world but when you talk you seem like a little girl' Probably a perfect description!
